When it comes to reviewing an album, never forget its all someone's opinion. I was asked to review Bryann Trejo's new album "Kingdom Psalms" and to say the least, I was so excited to review this one, because to me, Bryann is the best rapper I have ever heard. That's a huge statement considering I run one of the largest Christian Hip Hop promotion companies in the world and I am also a rapper. From the moment I pressed play I was getting ministered too and felt the presence of God coming through the speakers. To me every line in every track on this album comes across in humility knowing that God gets the glory and Christ paid the price. In track #10 he makes a powerful statement saying "He will never change his mission statement". That speaks volumes if you know anything about that. When he says that though, I believe him and have no doubt if this album sold a million copies it still wouldn't alter what he is going to bring next. You see there is something about consistency with this brother that makes him stand out in a crowd of standout's. My favorite track though was #9, because it showed me God's perfect plan unfolding on his life. I have no doubt Bryann has done things in his life that no one would be proud of, however he didn't let that hold him down. He used his past along with great tragedy and loss to fuel a fire within him to run for the kingdom and never look back. I will end with this. If you want music that you can not only relate to, however to also help you grow as a Christian, this is it. This is ministry. This is "Kingdom Muzic"!
